Margate’s own microbrewery has some of the best sea views in town. Right opposite the Main Sands is Xylo, a friendly craft beer bar serving a range of home brewed lagers, IPAs and ales. There is also an impressive range of board games, a monthly pub quiz and the odd DJ or two.

Its outside benches are in demand on a sunny evening.
